The Spine Society of Australia (SSA) was founded on 13th July 1990 and facilitates the exchange of ideas, research and communication about spine health. Whilst the majority of members are neurosurgeons and orthopaedic surgeons, the SSA is inclusive of all who are concerned with the care of the spine.
The ASR is currently being run as a pilot study and involves hospital and spine surgeons from Victoria, Tasmania, NSW and Western Australia.
